Cherie’s Riding Centre, Sedgefield, Garden Route, Western Cape.
Riding centre in the heart of the Garden Route. All ages and all levels of experience welcome. Professional guides accompany each trip. Please wear long trousers, jeans or ski pants. Takkies or other firm fitting shoes are advisable as footwear. Three types of rides:
• Lake Ride (1 hour) – scenic ride along the shoreline of Swartvlei Lake to the foot of the mountain.
• Mountain/Forest Ride (2 hours): Along the shores of Swartvlei and up to the mountain ridge. Spectacular views through the forests of the surrounding forests, mountains, lakes, sea, villages and farms.
• Beach Ride (6 hours): Exciting ride along the lake shore, up the mountain and along the ridge to the beach. Ride in the surf
Well-trained horses and comfortable saddles. Booking is essential. Sedgefield is on the N3 east of George, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N12. Turn north off the N2 at the Cloverdale/Montmere exit 2-km west of Sedgefield. BICherie
