Didibeng Mountain Park, Fouriesburg, Eastern Free State.

“At the Fountains” is a 4x4 park in the Eastern Free State.  Beautiful scenic area with mountains, indigenous trees, scenic viewpoints, abundant birdlife, sandstone formations, hiking trails, ravines, mountain streams, spectacular sunsets and starry skies at night.  The trail consists of a main circular route with detours to various viewpoints, scenic spots and hiking trails.  Black bass, carp and trout can be caught in the main dam.

•    Ouhout Camp: provides camping facilities for a maximum of 50. The lapa is ideal for group activities. Modern ablution block with showers, a bath and flush toilets. Donkey for hot water – no electricity.

•    Bush Camps: Available for private use.

Limited number of day visitors between 08h00 and 17h00. Report at Meiringskloof to collect the keys. Entry before sunset is strongly advised!

Fouriesburg is on the R26 south of Bethlehem, which is on the N5 west of Harrismith, which is at the intersection of the N3 with the N5.  Close to the Lesotho Border post at Caledonspoort. AUDidibeng
